Southern highland volunteer outreach a Volunteer Organization based in Mbeya, Tanzania, that accepts volunteers from all around the globe to come and help out in the local community, and experience the Tanzanian way of life! SHVO is run by Adili Thadeo (Director) , from Tanzania. aims to provide volunteers and volunteer traveller with quality,flexible,safe and highly affordable volunteering projects in Tanzania southern highlands.In addition to providing aid and assistance to this country,SHVO endeavors to increase education and heighten awerenaess through not only the skills and expertise taken by the volunteers to their host communities and institutions,but also through the experiences and lessons volunteers will in turn take back to their own countries and cultures. 

OUR GOALS:-

•  -Make safe,quality international volunteer travel ginuinely affordable -Heighten awareness of issues in Tanzania through first hand volunteer experience. 

• -Assistance to local communities and organisations through providing short term(one week to six months)International volunteers. 

• -Authentic international volunteer travel experiences,achieved by living and working with local people,communities,organisations and families. 

• -Education for both local people(through volunteers)and the volunteers (through their volunteer travel experience and interaction with local people) 

• -provide opportunity for people to experience Tanzanian's cultures.

OUR MISSION 

We facilitate the meeting of and interaction between international volunteers and Tanzanian peoples for the purpose of gaining a mutually meaningful and productive experience. We provide a framework for the exchange of ideas, information, and resources to enhance the support of local communities. We provide support for volunteers especially as they transition into their new environment.
